Hank got his letter!

Hi Wizard School backers and visitors,
Today we have exciting news; Hank is going to Wizard School! Now you might think that this came from a place where he was a little sad at still not getting an invitation letter to a certain other wizard school, so he built his own to invite himself...And you would be correct! But that doesn't mean he's NOT invited, he's invited still, and he's going to be in the game.
Karen has finished the lines for upperclassman Hank, which you may have seen on the livestream, but here it is for a closer look!
Another certain Green may be getting another letter soon, don't spoil the news for him though!
Thank you everyone!
A closer look at the cards

Hi Wizards!
We've talked a lot about this game, but we haven't given you many up close looks at the cards themselves yet. So this update is all about giving you a closer look at cards! Please note that not all of these cards are completely finished, so if something looks not quite done...it's probably not.
Today we're going to focus on Magical Cards:
First up is SPELLS!
Each spell includes 2 key pieces of information. First, what magic type it produces, which is in the center, under the artwork, and second, an additional effect that happens when cast. Take a look at a few of them!
This spell produces a LOT of magical power, but also prevents your grade from getting worse this turn! So useful!
This spell produces a lot less magical power, but when used, keeps all those pesky red monsters roaming the halls from making your lives that much harder.
The second type of Magical card is an Item.
Items are carried by your Wizard, and have ongoing effects which make school a little bit easier for you. A Wizard can only carry a limited number of items though, so choose wisely! Here are a couple examples:
This card makes your signature spell more effective!
This card keeps you safe from the dangers of going into school...some of the time.
Finally, we have Magical Friends!
Magical friends can be played at ANY time from your hand of cards, and produce an immediate benefit. However, once used they go straight to the discard pile, so you need to pick just the right time to call for their help. They can do all sorts of really useful things though!!! Take a look:
The Hanklerfish is very good at protecting you from Monsters.
This friendly rabbit will fetch you a discarded item, so if a monster eats your favorite Sonic Hammer, he can get it back for you.
Sometimes, 1 magical card can turn into 2 more, when you really need it! Thanks to your deep thoughts...
So that is your look at Magical Cards! We'll take a closer look at the school deck next time. Please let us know if you have any questions about these 3 types of cards!
Thank you everyone!

This was the first time Karen had recorded herself at work. Less talk now, more watching!
She is still finalizing the little present which was supposed to come yesterday, but we'll get it to you soon!
Thanks everyone!
John is a Centaur

As the title might suggest, we've found the answer as to why John is always just chest up in his videos. (yes, we know that's not actually true.) But what he hides in video, he can proudly use to fit in while attending Wizard School. John, you're going to Wizard School.
And we're adding his card to YOUR games.
Also, another card which evolved out of our first livestream, the velocirat, is also going into your games!
